Datalogic devices overview
Datalogic covers a wide range of products with its Mobile Computers. From Mobile Computers for retail and wholesale to rugged Mobile devices and Tablet PCs for industrial use. Due to their continuous development and their large number of patents (e.g. Greenspot), a large product and solution portfolio has developed in retail and industry.
COSYS has maintained a close partnership with Datalogic for years. Although Datalogic sells a smaller number of mobile computers than Motorola and Honeywell, Datalogic´s market access and brand awareness is excellent due to its world market leadership in the retail checkout scanner sector (Magellan) and its world market leadership in the hand-held scanner sector. In addition, the number of units sold in the mobile computer sector is growing strongly. Due to the very good price-performance ratio of Datalogic handhelds with a simple range of functions, COSYS uses these devices (Memor, Skorpio X3, Falcon X3, Elf, etc.) very often in projects at small and medium-sized companies, where COSYS customers are very price-sensitive but also qualitatively demanding and require innovative technologies.
