The Skorpio X3 mobile computer, features the largest color display - 3.2" - in its device class. The clear and bright touch screen facilitates the user´s daily work with the mobile computer. To support specific input requirements, there are three different keyboard layouts: alphanumeric with 50 keys, function-oriented with 38 keys and a numeric keypad with 28 keys. Users can also choose between Microsoft Windows Embedded Handheld 6.5 or Windows CE 6.0 for the operating system.The rugged mobile computer was developed specifically for retail applications and is the ideal companion on the floor and in the warehouse. Skorpio X3 stands for maximum user-friendliness and ergonomics, while at the same time the mobile computer is extremely robust. This means that neither harsh industrial environments nor repeated drops or strong impacts affect its reliability. The screw-on handle fits comfortably in the hand and is extremely durable. Lightweight and compact in design, the mobile computer is well balanced for easy and comfortable handling.

Equipped with Bluetooth EDR and IEEE 802.11 a/b/g, the mobile computer, Skorpio X3 guarantees fast and complete data exchange with the respective information system. It works with the latest RF security protocols such as WPA and WPA2. In addition, it is CCX V4 (Cisco Compatible Extensions), certified and thus takes advantage of all the benefits of a Cisco WLAN infrastructure. The Skorpio X3 mobile computer, features Datalogic´s patented ´Green Spot´ read confirmation. This technology projects a green dot directly onto the barcode, confirming successful code capture to the user. On both model variants - 1D laser and 2D imager, the scan engine is tilted so that the user can look at the display during barcode capture.
