Data capture with the Honeywell CT30 XP can be performed using one of two available scan engines. The FlexRange engine offers smooth barcode scanning of 1D and 2D codes from up to 10 meters and is suitable for particularly scan-intensive environments. If barcode scanning at standard ranges of up to 1 meter is sufficient, the S0703 scan engine is the better choice. For extended data capture, such as images or documents, the high-resolution 13 MP camera on the back can be used. The 8 MP camera on the front of the CT30 XP is ideal for video telephony.
