The cordless Newland WD3 is a featherweight, pocket-sized handheld scanner suitable for environments where a lightweight and portable handheld scanner is needed. As an enterprise-ready pocket scanner, the Newland WD3 offers high scanning performance and amazing ruggedness, making it perfect for use at events or in healthcare, hospitality and retail environments. Bluetooth technology lets you pair the WD3 with any mobile device or tablet, allowing you to use the device´s screen for captured barcodes. You can use the WD3 as a standalone scanner or wear it on a lanyard like an ID card. Its light weight of 53g makes it easy to carry and reduces the risk of fatigue. Like any other Newland portable scanner, the WD3 ensures uninterrupted workflows so your employees can get their jobs done more easily. The Newland WD3 features an extremely thin and lightweight design that makes it comfortable to wear, even during long scans. With the included lanyard or retractable belt clip, the pocket scanner can also be worn comfortably on the body so its weight is hardly noticeable. For this, the WD3 is equipped with Newland´s latest megapixel 2D technology and can effortlessly scan barcodes in large quantities, at high density and with distortion. It makes no difference to it whether it reads codes on paper or on screens. Thanks to Acuscan, the WD3 can be set so that its red laser cross scans exactly the barcode that is desired. Even if the user has to scan one out of many barcodes, you can be sure that the WD3 will scan the right one on the first try. All captured barcodes can be stored in the small device memory to be transmitted to the paired device when Bluetooth or wired connection is established. Even if you scan large quantities or only single codes, you can use the WD3, even without a connection.
