With the Zebra TC53 / TC58, Zebra introduces a new member to the well-known TC5x family. The modern full-touch Mobile device is particularly suitable in the transport and retail sector due to its ergonomic, handy shape and light weight, but can also be used in many other work areas without any problems due to its robust design. With the new Zebra TC53 / TC58 you bring the latest Mobile technology into your company and digitize many work processes, where previously only cumbersome with paper and pen. The TC53 / TC58 series is equipped with all current standards and combines from the display to the scanner the best hardware that you can currently acquire in a Mobile device. All current transport and warehouse applications can be used without any problems thanks to the powerful processor, guaranteeing a smooth workflow.
Despite the extensive performance spectrum of the Zebra TC53 / TC58, the device weighs just under 300 g and is thus a real lightweight. The high-performance octa-core processor from Qualcomm ensures sufficient performance in all application areas along the entire supply chain. Thanks to the 4GB / 8GB RAM variants, many complex data sets can be provided quickly and reliably and additionally cached on the 64 GB / 128 GB internal memory. The internal memory can be expanded at any time by an SD card up to 2 TB, e.g. to record high-resolution photos of transport damage. The 6-inch display depicts all work processes in razor-sharp Full HD+ resolution and offers an optimally recognizable image even in strong sunlight thanks to adaptive brightness control.
With the latest WiFi 6E technology in the Zebra TC53 and additional 5G wireless standard in the Zebra TC58, you can synchronize data records in real time at any time. The new TC5x models are also equipped with all modern standards such as Bluetooth 5.2, GPS and NFC.
Thanks to the 4400 mAh battery, you don´t have to worry about the device´s runtime, because it will surely get you through the day. However, to get additional battery power, Zebra offers a variant with an extended 6600 mAh battery, so that the device is always ready for use even during longer transport tours.
Since Zebra, as with its predecessors, also focuses on flexibility here, the new Zebra TC53 / Zebra TC58 is available in 3 scan variants. In the basic variant, Zebra relies on an SE4720 engine that reliably scans all barcodes within standard range. With the SE5500 variant, you get a high-performance scanner with increased scanning range, which also captures poorly readable codes faster. In the premium variant of the new Zebra Mobile devices, the SE5500 engine offers the new innovative Augmented Reality functions. This is especially in the field of transport as well as parcel stores a way to further optimize work processes, because Zebra´s Dimensioning™ Certified Mobile Parcel allows you to capture the dimensions and shipping costs of parcels and shipments without additional tools.
IP68 certification and a 1.5 meter drop indicator make the device easy to use in harsh work environments. The available rubber boot offers the TC53 / TC58 additional protection against drops and shocks. As an operating system, Zebra has given the new TC5x series Android 11, which gives you a future-proof operating system and, thanks to the Zebra service package, many years of security patches and system updates are guaranteed. Thanks to the high life cycle of the Zebra devices, support up to Android 15 is ensured and the devices are compatible with modern software applications even beyond that.

For communication between Mobile devices, your servers, peripherals and the Internet, Zebra relies on the latest and fastest wireless technology for the TC53/58. The Mobile device supports WiFi 6E, the latest WLAN standard. WiFi 6E increases battery life and wireless range. In addition, the TC58 comes with a SIM slot with 5G reception, keeping you connected on the go. Bluetooth 5.2 is also installed in the TC53 / TC58.
Powerful batteries
The TC53 / TC58 is equipped with a 4400mAh battery. The battery is significantly larger than that of a conventional smartphone and will easily get you through the workday. If you have to go longer without charging or you use demanding applications, the 6600mAh extended battery is recommended. If you run out of battery power, you can swap the batteries during operation without having to take a break thanks to hot-swap.
Zebra Augmented Reality
The latest feature of the TC53 / TC58 is the ability to determine the dimensions of packages by means of a TOF (Time-Of-Flight) sensor. This feature, new for Mobile devices, allows you to measure parcel dimensions directly with the TOF sensor in the TC53 / TC58 without the need for a scale. Zebra guarantees that the Zebra Dimensioning™ Certified Mobile Parcel software will always record accurate dimensions. The TOF sensor has a lot of potential, as it can eliminate many small processes in everyday work.
