The Honeywell CT45 / CT45XP offers highly reliable performance complemented by data connectivity and communication, and its features make it ideally suited for retail, transportation logistics and field service workers. The two Mobile devices belong to the modern CT45 family and thus represent the direct successors of the Honeywell CT40. Like their predecessors, the CT40 / CT40XP, the Honeywell CT45 and the Honeywell CT45XP are aimed at companies that are keen to invest in sophisticated solutions and at the same time require a durable, secure and stable platform. To achieve this, the CT45 and CT45XP are based on the latest generation of Honeywell´s future-proof Mobility Edge platform. Thanks to Mobility Edge, the CT45 and CT45XP offer a multi-year lifecycle, maximum security and high longevity that optimize return on investment. Honeywell also offers numerous software solutions, such as Operational Intelligence Asset Optimization or Smart Talk.

With its superior ruggedness, the Honeywell CT45XP and Honeywell CT45 ensure minimal downtime, protecting businesses from lost revenue. With its end-to-end ruggedness, the CT45XP / CT45 can survive any challenging environment in the field, in the rain or in the warehouse. Although the CT45XP and CT45 have a slim, compact design, the Mobile devices withstand multiple drops to concrete from 1.8 m (5 ft) according to MIL-STD-810H standard and even drops from 2.4 m (6 ft) with the additional rubber protective cover. In terms of water and dust resistance, the slim case also offers a water and dust resistant seal to IP68 and to IP65. Sturdy Corning Gorilla Glass protects the sensitive touchscreen and scanner from cracks, scratches and bumps. This makes the Honeywell CT45XP and Honeywell CT45 the perfect Mobile devices for mobile workers that work reliably in all environmental conditions, even if accidentally dropped.

However, more productivity is also achieved by the future-proof and powerful system architecture of the Honeywell CT45 and the Honeywell CT45XP. A lightning-fast Qualcomm Snapdragon 4290 Octa-Core processor with 2.0 GHz clock speed ensures fast data processing in the CT45 and CT45XP and lets even complex graphics-intensive data acquisition apps run smoothly. Big differences between the CT45 and CT45XP occur when it comes to memory, as the CT45 is available with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of flash memory from the factory, whereas the CT45XP comes with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of flash memory from the factory. However, both devices have an additional MicroSD card slot and offer the option to expand the memory by up to 512 GB using an SDHX, SDHC or SDIO card. Data capture on the CT45XP and CT45 is handled by two different scan modules that can capture 1D barcodes and 2D DataMatricCodes. Choices include Honeywell´s innovative FlexRange scan engine, which can capture bar codes up to 10 m away, and the new Honeywell S0703 imager. A 13 MP camera on the back of the CT45 and CT45XP can be used to capture damage, documents and much more. In addition, employees can also make video calls thanks to the 8 MP front-facing camera.
