Zebra LI4278 handheld scanner

The LI4278 sets new standards for 1D barcode scanning in terms of speed and flexibility. It captures virtually any 1D barcode - including the typical barcodes printed on paper labels, barcodes displayed on the screen of smartphones, tablets or computers (e.g. for loyalty cards, mobile coupons, etc.), as well as the high-definition (HD) barcodes common in electronic component manufacturing. UPC barcodes can be detected at a distance of up to 76.2 cm at 100%, and as far away as 139.7 cm at 200%. Because bar codes can be scanned even at extreme angles, there´s no need to constantly reposition the scanner, and scans are completed faster. And thanks to the optional docking station that enables presentation mode, the scanner can be used in both handheld and hands-free mode.

The patent-pending single circuit board improves reliability by eliminating interconnects. Superior battery management allows significantly more scans per battery charge, supporting scan-intensive applications. Use in dusty and humid environments is straightforward. The scan line is highly visible not only indoors, but also outdoors in bright sunlight. The scanner can even survive drops onto concrete. What´s more, you can insert it into the rugged docking station over a quarter of a million times.
