The Newland MT37 Baiji is an Mobile device designed for demanding use in small and medium-sized businesses. As is so typical for warehouse Mobile devices, the Newland MT37 Baiji comes with a physical keyboard, a bright touchscreen display and a modern Android operating system.

Ease of use is an important factor in the Newland MT37 Baiji, as the device aims to please both newcomers and experienced workers. That´s why the Newland Mobile device has a lightweight and ergonomic design that reduces fatigue during long, scan-intensive work sessions. With its edgeless housing, the Newland MT37 fits smoothly in the hand and, thanks to its weight of 155 g, does not become a ballast. The numeric keypad with additional navigation and scan keys (24 keys in total) is perfect for one-handed operation, allowing easy thumb-press input. The 2.8-inch touchscreen offers an additional input option that many employees are familiar with from their private smartphone. The capacitive touchscreen can be operated with a finger as well as with a glove, and it can even be used in wet conditions without any problems.

Another aspect of the Newland MT37 Baiji is its robustness. The casing was designed to withstand drops onto concrete from a height of 1.2 meters and even operate at operating temperatures of -20°C to +50°C.

Data processing is handled by the energy-efficient hardware components. The 1.8 GHz quad-core processor ensures fast and energy-saving processing of inputs and barcodes. With a 1 GB RAM and a system memory of 8 GB, you even have enough capacity for apps and captured data. Equipped with powerful dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0, the Newland MT37 Baiji delivers wireless connectivity for data transfer. Optionally, a SIM card can be inserted to connect the MT37 Baiji to the mobile network.

The integrated 2D scan engine of the Newland MT37 Baiji is equipped with Newland´s 6th generation decoder chip and ensures efficient capture of 1D and 2D codes. This enables the Newland MT37 Baiji to scan damaged and low-quality barcodes easily and quickly.
