In addition, the MS825B LR supports Bluetooth dual mode technology (Bluetooth LE v4.2 and Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR, Class 1) to allow more freedom and more flexibility. The handheld scanner is compatible with and connects smoothly to most smartphones, tablets and PCs. In addition, captured data is transmitted to the paired device via the connection. Should the scanner scan outside the 100 meter radius to the paired device, the data is stored offline in the device memory and transferred when the connection is established.
