Rugged design
Mobile work environments put devices to the test. The lightweight ZQ500 printers are designed to withstand the shocks, drops and bumps that can´t be avoided on the job. The ZQ510 and ZQ520 feature a patented heavy-duty design that has been tested by a third-party lab to U.S. military standard MIL-STD 810g for shock, vibration and extreme temperatures. The printers can withstand multiple drops to concrete from 2 m (6 ft) on multiple sides - and with the optional exoskeleton enclosure, they can even survive drops from 3 m (10 ft). The ZQ510 and ZQ520 provide additional protection by preventing media ejection when the printer is dropped, so your workers can stay productive and focused on the go.
Resistance to environmental influences
Zebra not only protects your equipment, but also ensures high uptime. The ZQ500 Series printers are IP54-rated to protect against dust and liquids that are ubiquitous in mobile environments - whether it´s dirt on site or crumbs in the service vehicle. And thanks to low-temperature compensation, the ZQ500 Series automatically optimizes print temperature and quality in cold weather.
