Unitech electronics has introduced the new 2D ring scanner to its industry-leading wearable portfolio: The MS652 offers a wearable design that gives users freedom of movement to comfortably perform barcode scanning tasks while keeping both hands free. The MS652 is designed to streamline workflow for a variety of applications including retail, logistics and field service.

With a superior scanning engine, the MS652 can scan most 1D, 2D and PDF417 barcodes printed on paper labels or displayed on a cell phone screen. Bluetooth BLE 4.2 and NFC technology provides the most efficient way to pair with smartphones and tablets (including iOS or Android system) with just one touch. In addition, wireless technology keeps the scanner up to 10 meters away from the computer, increasing productivity by allowing workers to get on task. The MS652 can operate with an automatic mode that ensures no data is lost while out of range of the wireless signal. Data is automatically uploaded to the back-end system when back in range without interruption.
