At first glance, one can quickly draw parallels between the TC73 and its predecessor, the TC72, since Zebra also relies on the proven rubber bumper integrated into the housing of the new TC73, which turns the device into a real protective cover for the technology inside. Zebra hasn´t spared a penny on the 5-inch crystal-clear touch display with adaptive brightness control either, relying on the latest generation of scratch-resistant tempered Corning Gorilla Glass for the TC73. As a result, Zebra manages to protect the internal technology from drops of more than 3 meters onto hard surfaces like concrete without causing any external or internal damage to the device. To breathe the necessary life into the whole thing, Zebra relies on one of the latest generations of Snapdragon Qualcomm Octa-Core processors with either 4 GB or 8 GB RAM. Thanks to the factory-delivered Android 11 version on the TC73 / TC78, Zebra offers an extremely performant basis for all complex software applications along the entire supply chain. The optional 64 GB or 128 GB internal memory offers enough space for all company-relevant data such as master data, apps as well as all security and system updates. The Zebra TC73 is equipped with the latest standards such as WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC and much more. The Zebra TC78 also comes with 5G to ensure a stable data connection at all times, even on the go or in outdoor environments. For always reliable data capture, you can choose between the 2D SE55 Scan Engine or the 2D Advanced Range Scan Engine with IntelliFocus. In order to supply the whole thing with enough energy for more than 12 hours, a powerful battery is built into the TC73 / TC78, for which even long shifts including overtime are no problem.
